Monitoring offenders
We are responsible for independent, rigorous monitoring of serious offenders on post sentence orders
Monitoring the system
The Post Sentence Authority independently monitors services provided to offenders by government agencies, and reports on the performance of the post sentence scheme
Supervision orders
Serious offenders on supervision orders are supervised in the community after they are released from prison, and have conditions they must follow
Detention orders
Detention orders can be used when a supervision order would not be enough to protect the community
